We use these trick Stainless Steel band clamps on the exhaust systems of the Aston Martin cars, which have a real problem with ground clearance anyway; you don’t need a bunch of cheesey U-bolt clamps hanging down! The pipe diameter on these cars is 2.25 inches, but these will go bit either way in size. They exert a tremendous clamping force; cut off the tag-end of the T-bolt after tightening for a super-sanitary installation. Price is per clamp.
