Vehicle Application: Aston Martin Mark III DB4 DB5 DB6
The Mark III was the first DB to use a metal trim strip in the windscreen rubber, which continued through the DB4, 5, and 6. If you need seals for a DB2 or DB2/4, or if you do not wish to use the metal strips on a later car, or if you are missing the metal strips, give us a call for a much cheaper alternative rubber with a chrome mylar lockstrip that simulates the metal finishers. The item for sale here is for one genuine AML windshield or back window seal for a Mark III, DB4, DB5, or DB6 using the original metal trim strips. There are two sets of lips on this seal; one for the black locking strip, which is included, and another to hold the metal trim strips. This seal is just the right consistency to make a very difficult job a little easier. It only comes in a 4 Meter length, which means you will have some waste on the smaller windows. If you do not have the tool to insert the locking strip, please see the Tools category in our store for the correct item; it would be virtually impossible to install the lockstrip without this tool.
